What is the Freedom Program?

The Freedom Program helps homeowners in distressed situations save their home. It was created by Samantha Associates who are facing problems such as: they are just too far behind in mortgage payments and need a way out; they may be facing foreclosure or are on the brink of foreclosure; they are in bankruptcy and cannot get financing to make payments to stop bankruptcy. These are just a few reasons that inspire our clients to call us.

How does the Freedom Program work?

Samantha Associates pairs you up with an investor who will apply for a new mortgage to pay off your existing mortgage and who will work with you for a designated period of time to keep new mortgage payments current. This program gives you the opportunity to regain your financial footage and kep your home.

Samantha Associates has worked with a team of attorneys to fully protect your rights and interests in your home. These specialists have carefully constructed the Freedom Program to ensure a smooth transaction at the beginning and end of your enrollment. You will be given all documents to review before participating, and we encourage you to seek your own legal advice while you are contemplating enrollment.

What is the cost of the Freedom Program?

Samantha Associates charges a flat fee for this program, which is paid by your investor's new mortgage. Samantha Associates makes absolutely sure that you do not incur any out-of-pocket closing costs with the exception of the appraisal. For any questions regarding the fees, contact us for more information.

What happens to the equity in your home?

Samantha Associates does not ask or contract any equity you have in your home! This is what sets us far apart from our competitors who offer similar programs. Many require you to forfeit part or all of your equity and some charge up from expenses. Samantha Associates created the Freedom Program with one purpose only - to give you the very best opportunity to save your home! When you become a client and participate in the Freedom Program, you receive a legal document that protects your equity. Detailed information regarding all terms and conditions of our program are presented to you in writing at your initial consultation.

What about legal advice?

Samantha Associates strongly suggests that you take all documents to an attorney of your choosing for review. If you do not have an attorney or cannot afford one at this time, you can be referred to an attorney (at your request only) who is very familiar with the Freedom Program and who has worked with other Program clients. The attorney will represent only you during the Freedom Program to ensure you know your legal rights and help you get extensions on your foreclosure proceedings, if necessary.

How long is the Program?

The mortgage industry constantly changes and banks constantly revamp their lending guidelines based on current market trends. Some banks may require 12 months seasoning on your foreclosure; other require more time. Your credit score and commitment to making the situation better will have a significant impact on what the banks will require. During the time you are participating in the Freedom Program, your number one goal will be to repair your credit so you can obtain a mortgage, keep your home, and retain the equity you have worked so long and hard to build.

What can I do to help?

Once you become a Freedom Program client, the friendly staff will give you the information and helpful hints you will need to make the program a success. You will also receive information on credit counseling. Credit repair must be your number one priority. It is imperative that you work with a counseling company that does actual credit repair, not with a company that just consolidates your bills. Consolidation will have a negative impact on your credit report and score.
